While you are there, check out “Keepsake Crimes“ (Scrapbooking Series) by Laura Childs for a fun light mystery read.  Also available as an EBook for your Nook reader.

Being a Scrapbook designer I found this to be an interesting concept for a book. Thinking it might be a fun little read I wasn’t dissapointed and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. The characters were fun and quirky, the plot though done before had an unexpected twist to the end, and the history/content about New Orleans and Mardi Gras was a great addition to the storyline. The book reminded me of a nice Miss Marple type mystery . . . no gore, no vampires, no sex scenes. Add to all that the ten pages at the end of the book with Scrapbooking page ideas and the traditional New Orleans receipes were a bonus! The book would make a great book club read for a crafty type group. I can see a group holding a little Mardi Gras party night while discussing the book. Possibly using some of the receipes in the book for the party. I’ll for sure be reading more from this series.

PSD VERSION

PNG VERSION

For PNG files, simply add your photos, any other text or elements you wish, flatten to JPG file format and upload to Shutterfly or Rocket Life software.

For PSD files, you can add, remove, rotate, elements within the layers as you wish. Photos are placed on the “Photo Mask” (clipping mask) layers and using your Photoshop program will snap into place. When your page is finished simply flatten the layers and save as a JPG file before uploading to Shutterfly or Rocket Life software.
